-
December 15, 2023 - Enroll by this date for coverage to begin Jan. 1
How can I get health coverage outside the yearly Open Enrollment?
-
Outside Open Enrollment, you can enroll only if you qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). You qualify if you have a baby, get married, lose job-based coverage, or have certain other life changes.
See all changes that qualify for SEPs.
-
If you do not qualify for a SEP, you can apply as soon as November 1 for coverage starting January 1, 2023.
Can I be declined for individual health insurance because of a medical condition?
-
Health insurance companies can't refuse to cover you or charge you more just because you have a pre-existing condition. They also can’t charge women more than men.
Can I get help paying for my health insurance?
-
Based on your income, family size and the health plan you choose, you may qualify for tax credits and help paying for coverage.
-
Tax Credits will help eligible people pay for insurance premiums.
