Do you want to offer benefits to your employees but have not been able to afford the premiums? You can put a group plan in place January 1, 2018 without having to contribute anything toward your employee's premiums or meet any participation requirements.

Group health plans offer better coverage at a cheaper premium than are available on the individual marketplace. This allows you to offer benefits to your employees that they are not able to get on their own.

In addition, you can deduct the premiums from the employee’s check pre-tax, which saves both the employee and employer on payroll taxes.

You also may be able to take advantage of Insure Oklahoma subsidy to help pay for your employee's premiums if they meet the income guidelines.

If you have two or more employees, you should be eligible to put in a group health plan.
